This is a place where we can post information about the places we have traveled to and the experiences we have there. We wanted to use this for our own reference when visiting, and it may be of help to others as they make plans to visit these places. We have a goal to visit all the Virginia State Parks and enjoy the life God has given us. We will also be posting Day Trips here, because sometimes we will just need to get away for a day!!

Rocky Knob with Noah
We left Friday afternoon about 4pm and drove to Rocky Knob Campground. Noah and I set up the tents while David Hylton and Amy went and gathered firewood. After the tents were set we got the fire going. We ate Beef Stew Couscous for Supper and it was good. We all turned in about 10 pm and most slept OK. We had Breakfast Scramble for breakfast, after coffee. We hiked about 3 miles to the Rock Knob Cabin and back. We drove to Mabrys Mill and walked around there for a bit. We ate lunch at Poor Farmers Market and visited Nancys Fudge Factory.
