Today is travel day but we just take our time and do not get in a rush. First thing we did after setting up camp was head to the water fall.
For supper we had a Keto Bowl and just relaxed around the fire.

Woke this morning and while sitting outside, I had some visitors.
For breakfast, we had a breakfast bowl and it turned out to be fantastic.
We spent the morning just chilling around the campsite reading and working crosswords.
That afternoon we took ride around the campground river in our new River Run Tubes.
Spent another evening by the fire.

Breakfast today was eggs, bacon and waffles. After breakfast I did a little fishing at the lake.
For dinner, we roasted some corn over the fire. The corn was purchased from a local farmer who comes to the campground on a weekly basis.
Matthew and Hannah came over for dinner. We had NY Strips, roasted corn and steamed veggies. While I cleaned up the dishes, Amy took them to the waterfall.
After they returned, we played some corn hole.
Here is a couple of shots of some of the insect life we saw around camp.

After a good breakfast, we headed to downtown Staunton, VA.
We really enjoyed the Farmer Market and we picked up some whipped honey, fresh flowers for Hannah, a freshly squeezed veggie juice and some fresh tomatoes. Here are some other places we shopped.
- Eclectic Retro
- Essentially Zen Artisan Bath & Gifts
- The Well Balanced Paw
- Sunspots Studio, Glassblowing
- Wilderness Adventure Store, Try Before You Buy
- Pufferbellies Toys
After we left downtown, we headed to the Frontier Culture Museum and spent the afternoon there.
To tour the museum will take 2-4 hours, depending on a few factors. To take it all in you will need to read, really look at the exhibits and talk to the reenactors.
We had Chicken Alfredo for dinner back at camp. We started getting ready for travel day on Sunday.
